Refund Policy

1) Scope & Definitions
This Policy applies to licenses and digital products purchased directly via our website or authorized stores operated by our Merchant of Record (e.g., Lemon Squeezy). Unless otherwise stated, it covers initial purchases, upgrades, and renewals.
2) Refund Windows
- Standard window: Refund requests within 14 days of purchase are generally eligible. Requests before activation or with minimal usage are prioritized.
- Defective/non-conforming product: If a material defect is confirmed, we will remedy (fix, replacement) or refund regardless of the standard window.
3) Eligibility & Evidence
We may request reasonable evidence (order email/number, license key, OS/app version, logs, reproducible steps, short screen recording) to evaluate refund eligibility.
4) License Activation & Fair Use
Refunds may be limited if (i) substantial use after activation is evident, (ii) multiple activations or unusual patterns indicate abuse, or (iii) the product was primarily used to complete a time-bound task and a request is filed afterward.
5) How to Request & Timelines
- Email support@sproutstudio.app with your order email and order number.
- We verify the order and deactivate any active licenses tied to the order.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method by our Merchant of Record. Depending on your issuer, funds typically settle in 5–10 business days.
6) Exclusions / Limitations
- Bundles, enterprise volume purchases, custom builds may be ineligible or partially refundable only.
- Clear abuse (chargeback abuse, illegal duplication/redistribution).
- Requests filed only after completing time-sensitive projects primarily using the product.
7) Payments, Currency & Fees
- Refunds use the original payment method; exchange rates and issuer fees follow your provider’s policy.
- Chargebacks may delay or prevent refunds; contact us first.
8) Regional Addenda (KR / EEA-UK / CA-CPRA)
KR
Under Korean remote sales rules, consumers generally have a right to withdraw within 7 days from receipt. For digital content, if use begins after clear pre-notice and consent, withdrawal can be limited. Defective/non-conforming goods must be remedied.
EEA/UK
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. For digital content, the right may be lost once supply begins with express consent and acknowledgement.
California (CPRA)
Refund rights remain subject to the terms above; data rights (access, deletion, opt-out of sale/share) are handled under our Privacy Policy.
9) Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy with prior notice (7 days; 30 for material changes).
